Record-Setting QB Dies After Struggling With Cardiac Issues

Jared Lorenzen, former NFL and Kentucky quarterback, who was settled in hospital last week, died on Wednesday. Only 38 years old, he succumbed to renal and cardiac issues, which he had been struggling with for some time.

Family of Lorentzen expressed sincere appreciation for all the prayers and warm wishes they’d got in the last six days. With profound grief and heavy heart, mother of Jared Lorenzen, Janett Hermes, announced that her son passed on 3rd of July.

She thanked once again for all the support but also asked for privacy and respect in this grieving time. She said that the family would give information about the funeral in the days to come.

The Giants Send Their Prayers to Lorenzen’s Family

The Giants expressed their sadness tweeting that Lorenzen was a member of their 2007 team which made its destiny. They showed their support for Jared’s family and friends, emphasizing love and appreciation that the organization and fans had for Jared.

Eli Manning, a Giants quarterback, stated that Lorenzen was a great friend and valuable teammate. While he was at college Ole Miss, Manning played against Jared’s Kentucky team, but they came together to the Giants. Manning sent good thoughts and prayers to the family of Lorenzen, saying he’d never forget Jared’s good nature and competitive spirit, and that he left us way too soon.
